I have just booked my flights to the UK. I am going back for two weeks to see my sons, my sisters and my grandchildren.
The weather here is about 33c and my sister says I am going back to about 16c / 17c and dull and windy.
Looks like this ‘summer holiday’ I will need to take my winter clothes!
I am taking a copy of my book ‘William the Fairground Car’ as a gift to my sisters grandaughter. She loves it, and her dad says he can’t buy one because of the recession. I think you can cut down too far when a child can’t have a book they want.
